Aroostook Hospitality Inn - Washburn

Great place for a peaceful night's rest!. This small motel has 10 units and we stayed in unit 10. The Aroostook Hospitality Inn was spotlessly clean, very cozy and comfortable. It had a TV, wifi, fridge and microwave all the amenities one would expect. The linens were spotless and we had all the blankets we needed. There was heat and air conditioning options to suit your needs. Shower was awesome with great water prssure and the towels/face cloths were soft. The owner/ manager was super attentive and very helpful. He even knew that we had to be back on the road before the official breakfast time, so he had coffee and snacks ready and waiting for us. I gave it 4 stars only because I think people reading reviews are expecting a fancy boutique hotel for a 5 star review, but this place is tops for a motel and I highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic. Room was spotless, quiet and quite large. Bed was very comfortable. Owner was extremely nice and a fountain of knowledge. Huge selection of television channels including nearby Canadian channels. Free breakfast was a nice touch. Motel was a little out of the way but considering the value and friendly service it is well worth it!

What a Great Place!!! Booked a seven night stay to snowmobile in the area. The groomed trail starts right at the end of the motel driveway and was always groomed perfectly. Gas is less than five miles away and we came back that way most nights so easy fill ups. The motel itself is really great. We were in one of the regular rooms. A little on the small side but did not bother. Bed was comfortable and the shower had a stream of water and was hot. Wifi was plentiful and worked well. Steve, the owner, is fantastic. I had a mechanical problem with my sled. He spent an hour calling places on the phone to try and get me help. He was so disappointed when he did not succeed. More than enough parking for any number of snowmobile trailers on sight. I highly recommend this place if you are staying in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at this motel. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We have found many motels/hotels that say they are pet friendly but charge a huge fee for your pet and give you the worst rooms possible. This motel is truly pet friendly. No smells in the room and very clean. The rate for the room was very affordable and the extra pet fee was reasonable. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in this area.

We have stayed here both with the old owner and now this weekend was the first time with the new owners. Not sure who was at the desk but she was kind and for the few minutes we encountered her at checkin. The updates were noticeable and I’m sure they are going to keep improving. The room was big enough for my family and visitors and beds were comfortable for the price. The only couple of downfalls to this stay were 1) upon entering it smelled like stale cigarettes and perhaps a musty damp smell that we continuously had to keep spraying the (included) febreeze room spray. 2) was not cleaned very well there was soap left in the shower from a previous stay, pet hair on the mattress of the pull out sofa and an actual piece of a cracker between the sheets and blankets tucked in the bed. Those were the minor and only off things to this place getting a full 5stars. Also I was reading on reviews there is breakfast and coffee… now I have children that stayed and within our three day two night stay we knew nothing about this until I read it in reviews … maybe highlighting that somewhere or the greeter at the desk maybe could let their guests know of this perk because my kids and I would have loved some breakfast and coffee without have had to leave in the morning to go to a store and purchase such things:) overall it’s definitely recommendable and there’s no doubt that this will not be our last stay. Keep improving Aroostook Hospitality Inn you’re on to something here .

We only stayed for one night but I would recommend to anyone looking for affordable accommodations. Our room was very clean, the air conditioning was the best and Hope, the manager was a pleasure to deal with. Its not a plush hotel but its certainly clean and comfy and that's exactly what we needed.

Had a wonderful stay. Love the price for a bed to sleep in. Love the mom and pop places for quick visits ;) The only complaint I have although very pretty...leaving the string lights on draws the bugs to the door so when you open your door at night the bugs ( misquotes) fly in by the swarm. I spent 20 minutes killing bugs before I could settle in. The easy fix for me was I sprayed my door with deet bug spray before I left for the day.. when I back during the night the bugs were dead that landed in the door, I sprayed again and opened the door and quickly shut door behind me and it worked. ;) If your looking for a clean, low cost place to sleep.... THIS IS YOUR PLACE;)

A wonderful value. The rooms are economy, but clean and well kept. The staff is exceptional, friendly, and very helpful. It's a budget motel, but they do a great job with it at a fantastic price point. It was just what we were looking for, close to the snowmobile trails, parking for the sleds, friendly staff, and a great price.
